The good news: BOA® covers all repairs for free, for life
Every ThirtyTwo boot fitted with a BOA® Fit System is covered by the BOA® Lifetime Guarantee. This means BOA® will replace any broken dial, snapped cable, or failed coiler at no cost to you — regardless of how old your boots are or where you bought them.
This applies to all BOA® components across all ThirtyTwo boot models: single-dial, double-dial, H3, H4, and any other BOA® system used on our boots.
Common BOA® issues this covers
- Dial keeps popping out or won't click in
- Cable snapped or frayed
- Coiler (the housing the cable runs through) cracked or broken
- Dial spins freely without tightening
- Dial ratchet mechanism no longer holds tension
- Stitching around the BOA® guide failed (contact ThirtyTwo — see below)
How to claim your free BOA® replacement
Option 1 — Claim directly with BOA® (fastest)
- Go to boafit.com/support
- Select your issue and follow the steps — you'll need to provide a photo and your boot model
- BOA® will ship replacement parts directly to you, free of charge
This is the quickest route and BOA® typically ship parts within a few business days.
Option 2 — Visit an authorised ThirtyTwo dealer
Any authorised ThirtyTwo stockist can carry out a BOA® repair in-store, free of charge. Use the store locator to find your nearest dealer.

Is the BOA® issue covered by the ThirtyTwo warranty instead?
BOA® component failures (dial, cable, coiler) are handled directly by BOA® under their Lifetime Guarantee — this is separate from and additional to the ThirtyTwo 1-year warranty.
However, if the stitching or fabric around the BOA® guide has failed (the part of the boot that holds the BOA® housing), that is a boot construction issue and would fall under the ThirtyTwo warranty claim process instead.

My boots are old / discontinued — does the Lifetime Guarantee still apply?
Yes. The BOA® Lifetime Guarantee has no expiry date and applies regardless of the boot's age or whether the model is still in production. As long as you have a ThirtyTwo boot with a BOA® system, the guarantee applies.
